History

Although Totem Wines started producing wines in 2006, Ibiza has a long history in wine-making dating back 2500 years to the Phoenicians, who introduced the original Monastrell grapes to Ibiza, Spain in 500 B.C.

Fast forward to the 21st century, Laurent Frésard while completing his Masters in Wine Management, discovered a passion for wines created from the diverse Mediterranean soil and unique grape varieties, and joined Totem Wines in 2008 with the aim of creating great wines on the island ofIbiza.
