Clos du Nord Red 2008 – Vin de Pays des Côtes Catalanes

Grape varieties: 80% lladoner pelut, 10% syrah, 10% carignan. Vines planted between 1909 and 1982.

Ageing: 10 months in French oak barrels.

Appearance: intense garnet with purple hue

Nose: opens with a racy red fruit bouquet and subtle toasted scents.

Palate: the entry is elegant and fruity, while the midpalate develops refreshing and aromatic fleshy fruit notes. The persistent length recalls intense fruity flavours.
